Denis Brihat is the contemporary equivalent of Edward Weston. He has taken the approach of
Weston and to some extent of Ansel Adams and has brought photography a few steps further
with them. Although his images are part of numerous collections all over the world, his blunt refusal
to dedicate any effort to marketing makes him one of the best kept secrets of photography.
These images are part of an article that I have written for the magazine "Photo Techniques" on
Denis Brihat's style and techniques.
